Those statements answer different questions. Our directory records 71 company–market associations across 60 distinct companies. This study keeps the source basis visible, so a state service claim is not mistaken for a local office, completed city project or promise to accept your particular parcel.

Four kinds of geographic evidence.

27 COMPANY–MARKET PAIRS

Local business base

A source places a business base in or near the researched area. The base does not establish service radius, current availability or an office in every named suburb.

43 COMPANY–MARKET PAIRS

Named service area

The company names the market or a relevant local service area. Confirm that the claim applies to the product and delivery model you need.

4 COMPANY–MARKET PAIRS

Named project

A company describes a project in the market. That is a company-reported example; it does not prove the same team or offering is available now.

1 COMPANY–MARKET PAIRS

State / broad region; confirm parcel

A broad state or regional statement supports an inquiry. City-specific acceptance remains unconfirmed, and the entry should not be described as a local office.

A company–market pair can have more than one kind of evidence. These four counts can overlap and are not intended to sum to 71.

Where broad claims need a closer question.

The last column is not a count of verified local offices. It can include named service areas or company-reported projects.

The evidence behind every association.

Kansas City

Named service area. General company territory is wider than the hybrid-home county restriction; use the product-specific requirements and confirm the parcel. Hybrid homes: Clinton, Clay and Platte counties plus part of Buchanan County, Missouri. The general contact page lists a broader service area; that broader list does not establish residential eligibility. Source ↗

Named service area. A dedicated Leavenworth County barndominium page names western KC-area communities. Source ↗

Named project. The company identifies a shop with living quarters near Basehor. The public page is a company project claim, not an independent inspection record. Source ↗

Named service area. A Blue Springs office/service page and Clinton County service page support KC-area inquiry; exact parcel acceptance remains unconfirmed. The reviewed KC-specific pages name Blue Springs and Clinton County. These are advertised service signals, not proof of coverage at every metro parcel or completed local homes. Source ↗

Local business base. The company publishes a Kansas City location, but its page describes portable-building specialists. Availability of the national residential offering and interior completion must be confirmed for this location. Source ↗

Named service area. Johnson and Douglas counties in Kansas are expressly named as the serving area. County coverage is explicit. Spring Hill and Gardner appear on service pages; no additional cities are inferred from the contact-page placeholders. Source ↗

Local business base. The company identifies a Basehor base and markets KC-area post-frame construction. Source ↗

Named service area. The dedicated Kansas City barndominium page supports an advertised residential offering; it is not a project completion audit. Source ↗

Named service area. The current published area names multiple KC suburbs. This supports advertised coverage, not a KC headquarters or a verified completed local dwelling. Source ↗

Local business base. The reviewed project-page footer lists an appointment-only Lee’s Summit office. This supports contact relevance, not proof of a completed KC residence. The reviewed office footer lists Lee’s Summit, Jamesport, Columbia, Lawrence, Wichita and West Des Moines, with meetings by appointment. Listed offices do not guarantee acceptance of every nearby parcel. Source ↗

Local business base. The company publishes a Stilwell address at the same street location historically recorded under Bucyrus. This supports a local base; project-specific territory still requires confirmation. Source ↗

Named service area. Olathe-based company advertising Johnson County and the greater KC metro, including selected Missouri communities. Published service coverage, not a guarantee that every parcel or project size is accepted. Source ↗

Named service area. Kansas City residential service and Lee’s Summit base are explicit; named project records provide additional local context. The company lists cities across the KC region and farther afield. This is broad company coverage; confirm residential acceptance and travel terms for the specific parcel. Source ↗

Named service area. The About page explicitly names the KC metro and surrounding rural territory from an eastern Kansas base. The About page names the KC metro, surrounding rural areas, western Missouri and southern Nebraska. Confirm the exact parcel and the delivery team from Garnett; this is broader than a named city project. Source ↗

State / broad region; confirm parcel. The FAQ expressly names Kansas and western Missouri, with portions of surrounding states subject to confirmation. Kansas and western Missouri are explicitly advertised. No county-level list was established; confirm acceptance of the intended residential use and exact parcel. Source ↗

Named service area. The company names the KC metro and Johnson County, with an Oak Grove address and a Liberty portfolio example. Explicit metro coverage and named communities from the company's service-area list. These are advertised areas, not proof of a completed project in every location. Source ↗

Named service area. The company identifies its Peculiar sales office serving the KC metro, with a named Pleasant Hill project example. The KC page explicitly states metro service from the Peculiar office. Project pages separately name Pleasant Hill and Clinton; a project location is not an office. Source ↗

Named service area. Johnson and Miami counties are explicitly listed for Kansas pole-building service; residential parcel acceptance still needs confirmation. Kansas county coverage comes from a pole-building page. The contact page lists Garnett, KS and Fordland, MO offices; neither is evidence of a KC city office. Source ↗

Ask a product-specific service question.

Send the exact parcel location and the work you want purchased: plans, delivered materials, erected shell or a proposed full-home contract. Ask whether the company currently takes that kind of project there, which team delivers it and whether travel or separate subcontractor arrangements affect the bid.

A company’s general coverage page can be broader than its residential offering. The deeper Kansas City profiles preserve product-specific conditions when the reviewed sources provide them. Use those conditions ahead of a generic state list.

Method and limits.

Each association comes from the cited company source and receives an evidence-basis label. We count a company once per market, even when several source statements support the association. “Broad only” means all recorded evidence for that pair is state/region evidence. No distance radius, drive-time service area, address geocoding or parcel acceptance is inferred. Sources are dated in the full data export; the original KC records retain their earlier dates.

Read the sample-selection method before comparing cities. For KC’s permitting geography, use the separate local authority desk; company service areas and government jurisdiction are different layers.
