Our original 52-company KC pool has 12 ranked entries and 40 exclusions. This pass revisited 13 of those exclusions against current primary sources. Two historical reasons need material context: Generational’s published geography and Classic’s residential offering. These findings do not establish a new Google review threshold, current availability or a formula score.
October 2, 2026 recheck: the published service area now includes Liberty, Kearney, Grain Valley, Smithville, Harrisonville and Excelsior Springs. The September 27 geographic exclusion should be read as a historical finding. Current service is advertised as barndominium rough-in only; no ranking eligibility is newly established.
October 2, 2026 recheck: Classic now publishes residential barndominium services and a permanent-building portfolio. Its Kansas City location is documented, but turnkey interior availability varies by location and has not been confirmed for that office. The September 27 scope exclusion remains a historical decision, not a statement that the company has no current residential offering.
The original exclusion records remain reproducible. Read these newer observations alongside them; an old reason should not be treated as a current claim that a company never does residential work or never serves KC.
Companies were prioritized for signs of residential or geographic relevance. This is a selected follow-up, not a complete new census or a replacement ranking. Each record states what was previously recorded and what the new source set establishes.
